PPPoE Gateway – Set-Up Guide
This chapter describes how to configure a Generic PPPoE gateway or how to use HSNM like a Radius server..
Before proceeding further with the configuration, you need to have a HSNM configured with a domain and a gateway as described in Adding a New Gateway.
The first step is to add a Gateway under your PPPoE Domain by clicking on the burger menu of your domain, then click “add Gateway”.
You need to choose other under Hardware type.
Now you can use the HSNM public IP as your AAA Radius Server.
If you want to use the HSNM like a AAA Server, it is mandatory to add a Gateway under the domain, otherwise every login request will fail with an authentication error.
