FAQ Fequently Asked Questions

This session allows you to enter frequently asked questions posed by users and automate their answers. Users can consult these independently from the Welcome Portal without the assistance of an operator or human advisor.

Context Dropdown Menu

Clicking the property button of the URL brings up the context dropdown menu with varoius options grouped by: edit.

Adding or Editing

To add a new FAQ, select “FAQ ” and click “Add” in the command bar. To edit an existing FAQ, press the context button and choose “Edit”. In both cases, you will be presented with a page where you can edit the following fields:

Question

Field Description
Category

Specify the category of the question.

Possible options are:

  • General
  • User Interface
  • Products
  • Payments
  • Services

Authentication Mode

Specify the authentication mode for displaying this question.

This setting is useful when entering questions at the system, reseller, or manager level and you wish to configure their display based on domain settings.

The available values are determined by the authentication modes available within the domain.
Question

The text of the question.

Order

Enter a numerical index for ordering questions. Lower values indicate higher priority in the list.

Expiration

Specify the expiration of the FAQ.

No value means that the FAQ has no expiration.

Answer

Field Description
HTML of the Answer Enter the answer to be displayed in the Welcome Portal.
Variables you can use:
• %CompanyName% (Manager’s company name)
• %Address% (Manager’s address)
• %Vat% (Manager’s VAT number)
• %Web% (Manager’s web address)
• %EmailAddress% (Manager’s email address)
• %Phone% (Manager’s phone number)
• %CustomImage:ImageID% (custom image variable where ImageID needs to be replaced with the image ID)These variables correspond to the relevant fields of the manager.
