Importing the Printer Configuration File for Model 6000

The procedure, compared to model 5000 is very different and requires installation of appropriate USB drivers on the computer and connecting the USB printer via USB A/B cable (not supplied).

Installing the USB Drivers

To configure your printer, you have to install the USB drivers of the printer in your PC.

For installation, please proceed as follows:

Step 1

In HSNM, click “Admin” and select “Documentation”;

Step 2

Expand the “Printer Configuration” menu;

Step 3

Download the “USBDriver6000.zip” file.

Step 4

Unzip the downloaded file into a folder;

Step 5

Right-click the “MTK_ISDCOM_Setup.exe” file and select “Run as administrator”.

Step 6

Upon request, click “Yes”;

Step 7

Follow the installation procedure and reboot the PC if required.

Step 8

Connect the printer via USB A/B cable.

Importing the Configuration File

As for model 5000, to complete the configuration of your printer, you have to import the file previously generated in the “Downloading Printer Configuration File” paragraph.

Follow the following steps:

Step 1

In HSNM, click “Admin” and select “Documentation”;

Step 2

Expand the “Printer Configuration” menu;

Step 3

Download the “Printer6000Config.zip” file.

Step 4

Unzip the downloaded file into a folder;

Step 5

Double-click the “Printer6000Config.exe” file to execute it;

Step 6

Click “Import”, select the configuration file downloaded from HSNM and press “Open”;

Step 7

Click “Start” on the top-right corner.

Step 8

The printer will show the following messagge “Parameter downloaded successfully!” that confirmed the succesfull configuration;

Step 9

Close the configuration software.
